Hey there, I’m Eve (actually, it’s Ieva, but Eve is simpler in English-speaking communities).

At 34, I’m still figuring it all out – and honestly, I love the journey. Three years ago, I left Lithuania and found myself in Bali after a quick detour through Thailand. What was supposed to be a short trip turned into my new home, and I couldn’t be happier soaking up the endless summer by the ocean.

The Many Sides of Me

I’m a bundle of contradictions, and I’ve learned to embrace that. I love my quiet mornings with a book and tea in a beautiful ceramic cup, but I’ve also had my fair share of late nights and parties (and sometimes still do). I’m deeply interested in science but find myself drawn to Buddhist philosophy. I can be the funny friend making everyone laugh and then get nostalgic and melancholic about Lithuania and the friends I left behind.

My days in Bali involve cooking fresh meals, regular exercise, and chasing those breathtaking tropical sunsets. I’ve found joy in a healthy lifestyle that still makes room for life’s pleasures. Living in an international community has opened my world and fed my naturally curious mind.

The Journey Within

The biggest journey I’m on isn’t across continents (though I did travel through nine countries in South America with my partner Bobby). It’s the journey toward genuine freedom – in my thoughts, beliefs, and actions. I’m working on loving myself, my body, and the life I’m creating.

My online business failed spectacularly when I first arrived in Bali. I was broken and uncertain, but that experience taught me resilience. Now I’m building something new, embracing slow living, and pursuing true independence.

Why I’m Writing

Writing has been my passion since childhood. I used to lose myself in books and create my own stories, but somewhere along the way, life happened. Now I’m reclaiming that part of myself.

I write about personal growth, self-discovery, and creating a life that feels as good as it looks. If my words help even one woman over 30 make brave, essential life choices, then every word is worthwhile.

I don’t have everything figured out. My once-strong convictions have softened, and I’m learning that maybe the freedom isn’t in knowing all the answers but in being comfortable with not knowing.

So that’s me – Eve – Lithuanian-born, Bali-based, freedom-seeking, sunset-chasing, tea-drinking, sometimes-partying, always-evolving human being.
